Business Operation Specialist

As a Business Operation Specialist, you will help evaluate, improve, and maintain our organization’s core operational processes to ensure an efficient and productive workflow. You will work to establish goals and objectives for improving operational efficiency.

• Design, implement and manage a cohesive financial and operational strategy and ensure operational efficiency
• Develop business cases and drive the adoption of processes that streamline strategic decision making
• Assisting with the implementation of new processes and procedures.
• Research industry trends and understand client needs to develop enhanced solutions
• Develop the KPIs for measuring success of Financial Services provided
• Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in any aspects relating to increased performance
• Drive a “customer centric” focus in our goals, strategy, evaluation of success, process design, and everyday habits.
• Monitor expenses and budget in line with the finance and accounts department
• Tracking and reporting on operational performance
• Working with finance function to ensure deposits accounts are reconciled as per standard practices

Technical skills

• Fintech / Tech startup Business and Financial Operations Management experience
• Fundamental ability to understand and execute strategy with the ability and desire to “roll up your sleeves” and be “hands-on
• Fundamental knowledge of product commercialization and revenue management
• Analytical skills with the ability to summarize and find insights from data
• Comfort with high-level, strategic thinking, including wiliness to be an active and outspoken participant in decision making
• Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Slide, Sheets or similar)
• Very good understanding of documentation related to payments, compliance and financial reporting
• Excellent understanding of handling transaction settlement
• Proficient in spreadsheet software and the ability to prepare reports as required
