Finance Operation Specialist

As a Finance Operation Specialist, you will use your financial management knowledge to perform cost analyses, prepare budget reports and evaluate current accounting trends. You should also advise our senior management team on potential acquisitions and strategic decisions in alignment with business objectives and legislation.

• Analyze financial data to identify our company’s financial status
• Develop financial models, taking legal limitations into consideration
• Participate in regular audits and recommend corrective financial action plans
• Provide thorough financial information on projects and programs that include reporting and project setup
• Prepare and maintain records of all money transfers and deposits
• Develop the KPIs for measuring the success of Financial Services provided
• Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in any aspects relating to increased performance
• Manage communication with collection agencies when required, prepare and submit transfers to customer accounts on a daily basis
• Monitor expenses and budget in line with the company’s financial goals
• Supervise and process inbound and outbound data transfer and balance all related information
• Ensure deposits accounts are reconciled as per standard practices
• Ensure compliance to credit policies and procedures for constant management of collection matters
• Design and review fiscal policies
• Identify investment opportunities

Technical skills

• BS degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Fintech / Financial sector analytics and/or operational experience
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Familiarity with finance and statistical analysis software
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to summarize and find insights from data
• Strong understanding of documentation related to payments, compliance, and financial reporting
• Excellent understanding of handling transaction settlement
• An ability to present and explain investment information and financial plans
• Comfort with high-level, strategic thinking, including wiliness to be an active and outspoken participant in decision making
• Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Slide, Sheets or similar)
• Proficient in spreadsheet software and the ability to prepare reports as required
• Fundamental ability to understand and execute strategy with the ability and desire to “roll up your sleeves” and be “hands-on
